Bank Management

Bank Management

Banks are used to hold Question and Exam materials. Using multiple banks allows for separation of these materials. This allows for restricting user access to specific banks. You will also see materials in the banks that you are added into.

For example, a school may create an Math bank, and limit Math Exam Authors and Markers to that specific bank, but restricting them from accessing the English and Biology materials in their respective separate banks.

Bank Creation

Navigate to the Assess App Admin module and click on the Banks option.

The Bank provides us with a detailed view with regard to question types that we can assign to particular banks, workflow, and tags.

The Bank Name must be provided as a mandatory field. The default workflow selected here will be visible for Questions, Exams, and Blueprints.

The Workflow defines the Approval workflow and No Workflow.

The question types you select here will exclusively be accessible for generating questions within the dedicated questions sub-module.

The marks for correct answers and default distractors will also be provided and modified in the banks.
