Selecting the report type in reports refers to the process of choosing the specific format or style in which data and information will be presented. This selection allows report creators to tailor the report to suit the User how the information to be communicated.

Within the reports module categorized as the "report type," there are two available options: the tabular report and the summary report.



Tabular report

A tabular report is a structured presentation of data in table form, organized into rows and columns. This format allows for a systematic display of information, making it easy to comprehend and analyze. The tabular format facilitates quick comparisons, trend identification, and data interpretation, making it a valuable tool for decision-makers seeking concise and structured insights.


Summary report

A summary report provides a condensed and insightful overview of essential information derived from a larger dataset or set of detailed reports. Unlike detailed tabular reports, a summary report distills key findings, trends, or metrics into a concise format, allowing decision-makers to quickly grasp the most crucial aspects of the data.
