Proctoring

Proctoring is the process of monitoring and supervising an examination or test to ensure its integrity and prevent cheating or unauthorized behaviour. The Proctoring in iAuthor enables the Admin to configure the proctoring options.


Navigate to iAuthor and click on the Proctoring option.


 

The proctoring option has the below configurations, and the Admin can change the configurations.

 

Administrators have the flexibility to adjust configurations, and when they click the "Save" button, the modified configurations will be stored.


Proctoring measures will be implemented for the examination as outlined below

  1. Audio Recording toggle
  1. Enable Screenshot toggle
  1. Video Fragment Size
  1. Face Recognition Match
  1. Screenshot Capture Interval

The Video Fragment size indicates the duration for which video fragments should be recorded within a specific timeframe. It can be with 5, 10 or 20 Seconds.


The Face Recognition Match represents the percentage of similarity in facial recognition for candidates to complete the authentication process successfully. It can be set any percentage from 10% to 100%.

 

The Screenshot Capture Interval defines the time interval, in seconds, at which screenshots must be taken. It can be of 5,10,15,20,25,30 seconds.


The iProctor Extension cannot be disabled hence the Toggle is grayed out.

The minimum speed required for the system to work.

 

If any changes or modifications are made, clicking the "Save" button will ensure that these adjustments are applied to the live monitoring of candidates during proctoring.
