Live Monitor - Functionality

The Live Monitor has other functionalities such as

1. Verify Identity


The "Verify Identity" option is employed to manually authenticate the candidate in case the initial candidate verification fails.


In the event of candidate authentication failure, the status will be updated to "Candidate Authentication Fail." Subsequently, the Invigilator or Admin can utilize the "Verify Identity" option to manually authenticate the candidate based on confirmation received from the College.


The candidate's verification step will be passed and the candidate can take up the exam.

2. Reset Login


If a candidate exits the Exam Browser without properly signing out from the candidate exam page and then attempts to log in again, they will encounter an error message stating, "You are already logged in. Please request Invigilator to reset your login."



The Invigilator or the Admin can use the Reset Login option present in the Live Monitor to reset the login of the Candidate and the Candidate can login again into the Exam Page.




3. Add Notes


The "Add Notes" feature allows for the inclusion of candidate-specific notes that will be accessible to all administrators and invigilators.


4. Special Consideration Notes


The "Special Consideration Notes" feature empowers administrators and invigilators to attach special considerations to candidates, with these notes being visible to both invigilators and administrators.


5. Restore Exam


In the case of an offline exam taken by a candidate, the responses are uploaded as a recovery file. The restoration of candidate answers or responses can be performed by either invigilators or administrators using the "Restore Exam" option.


6. Candidate Response Download PDF


This enables the invigilator or admin to download the candidate's response in the form of a PDF.


7. Reset Password


To create a new password for the candidate, you can utilize the "Reset Password" option, which generates a fresh password.

When the Invigilator or the Admin clicks on the Live Monitor, the complete Proctoring of the candidates will be displayed.



By clicking on the specific Candidate ID or the Status, the particular candidate's Live Monitor, Screenshots, and Events will be captured and displayed.
