Basics Of Exam
In the Assess App, the exam module is the primary tool for generating and organizing exams. Exams can be crafted using various methods, including starting from scratch, utilizing templates, duplicating existing exams, and creating from blueprints. The exam module allows us to oversee and manage exams effectively.

Functionalities in Exams
The Exams sub-module provides us with multiple functionalities same as the Questions sub-module.

1. Create Exam
Creating exams is a crucial function within the Exams sub-module. To initiate the process, users can click the "Create Exam" button conveniently placed in the top right corner of the Exam page.
Exam creation involves designing and crafting assessments to evaluate individuals' understanding and knowledge of specific subjects. It entails formulating questions, selecting appropriate question types, and arranging them logically. Exams can include various question formats such as multiple-choice, short-answer, or essay questions. The aim is to effectively measure learners' comprehension, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, ensuring a valid and reliable evaluation of their skills and knowledge.

2. Search and Filter Exams
The Search exam feature enables users to find specific exams within a Bank. It operates by considering various criteria, such as Exam ID, Exam Name, Title, Creator, and Status.
The Filter exam functionality allows users to sort numerous exams based on conditions. This functionality is based on specific field conditions, including ID, Bank, Title, Creation Date, Status, and more. Bank, Title, Created Date, Status, Title.
User can create a filter by clicking on the "+" sign next to the filter dropdown the selecting the filter criteria:

The user can save the particular filter by clicking on the save button either as Public or Private.

3. Duplicate Exam
The Duplicate exam feature allows users to create a copy of an existing exam. By utilizing this functionality, the user can create an exam with the same questions and sessions. The duplicate exam functionality can also be done using the Copy an Existing Exam functionality.
4. Delete Exam
The Delete exam feature removes a specific exam from the bank in the Assess App system.
5. Archive Exam
The Archive functionality is designed to conceal exams with Approved status in the system. Once archived, these exams are accessible through the filter option for Archived status.
6. Preview Exam
The Preview functionality offers a glimpse of how the exam appears during the exam on the candidate's screen.
The Preview functionality in exam has two forms,
- Preview (PDF)
- Preview (WEB)
- The preview (PDF) version gives the glimpse of the exam in the PDF and user can download the particular exam in the PDF file.
- The preview (WEB) version gives a glimpse of how the exam appears during the exam on the candidate's screen.
7. Checkout Exam
The Checkout functionality is utilized to transition the status of an exam from Approved to Draft status if the exam start date and end date are in the future dates and timings.

8. Print Exam
The Print Exam functionality in Exam allows users, such as instructors or exam administrators, to generate a printable version of an online exam. This feature ensures that exams can be distributed and taken offline if needed, maintaining the same structure and content as the online version.
